Vittorio Strosek went freelance in 1971 after working for Luigi #Colani for a year. In 1982, he founded the company #Strosek Auto Design and dedicated himself to the manufacturer #Porsche. One of the first models was the Porsche 928, followed by the Strosek 944 Turbo and, last but not least, the 911 model as "Flatnose" with projection headlights.

These included a moulded bumper, a deeper rear valance and subtle roof spoiler for improved aerodynamics. Small British motor manufacturers were hit a body blow in 1947, when the British government increased purchase tax to 66% on cars costing more than 1,000 Pounds. But Ian Duncan came up with the answer: he offered a very basic body on a #Healey chassis for less than 1,000 Pounds where even such things as the windscreen, passenger seat and spare tyre became an optional extra. This car became known as the Duncan Drone. Towing
