About The pure Wahweap towers bathed in early morning light. Hoodoos are composed of soft, sedimentary rock capped off by harder stone that protects the underlying column from erosion and degradation. In order to get to the site,we took the front entrance pass through the Wahweap wash, a 5 mile hike, which we had to hike in the dark after waking up at 2:30am in order to arrive at the location by sunrise.
