Ah, juicy water melons, popsicles, wafts of bbq and jasmine everywhere (let´s skip the unpleasant variety of human sweat-odeurs), making a splash at the pool and nights that don´t end. I´m in love! Getting dressed can be challenging when it´s hot, though.This outfit just about solves any challenge summer might pose: It´s super comfy, airy, certainly doesn´t overexpose at all and when paired with the right amount of accessories looks dashing!

Alexa Chung, of course, was one of the first glossy-fixtures to sport one, hers being black and boring (if you care to know – they come in a range of odd retro colors). At this point you might have guessed it: I´m not super crazy about them. They remind me of the 20ies (fine) and strangulation (not fine) and they´re utterly impractical if you live in Berlin…
