Diy Arduino Uno weather station connected to an old tablet that has a USB port to power the Arduino's needs. The Ethernet cable is connected to my network. Wirelessly using (wifi) I can then use the tablets out dated browser to see the Arduino Web Server weather station. If I port forward my router I could then see the weather station from anywhere in the world... :) ---- HEY HEY!!! For more COOL ARDUINO stuff, check out http://arduinohq.com
First the Antares rocket carrying 5,000 lbs of space station instrumentation explodes, and now this! My Arduino Uno fell out of my second story window while I was trying to record temperature over time by computer. Preliminary tests show that the sensors and the Arduino sustained only minimal superficial damage. Thank goodness, I don't think science could withstand another 10/28/14! ---- HEY HEY!!! Used Arduino Uno, one-wire temp sensor, Sparkfun beefcake relay, and a serial LCD to regulate soil temp for starting seeds. Two types of tomatoes, peppers, butternut squash, and a few herbs. I wrote a basic program to make the arduino work like a thermostat and turn on/off a large heating pad to maintain a set temp. ---- HEY HEY!!!
