Saul Bass (1920–1996) was a graphic designer & filmmaker, perhaps best known for his design of film posters and motion picture title sequences. Bass worked for some of Hollywood's greatest filmmakers, including Hitchcock, Kubrick, & Scorsese. Amongst his most famous title sequences are for North by Northwest, & Psycho. Bass also designed iconic corporate logos in North America, including the AT "bell," and the AT's "globe." He also designed Continental's jetstream, and United's tulip.

Matthew Leibowtiz (1918-1974) was a Philadelphia-based designer working throughout much of the 20th century. Arnaud Mercier (1972-2011) - was a French graphic designer and web developer, best known for his interactive design systems. He was the founder of the design studio Elixirstudio, co-founder of the interactive agency AREA 17 and co-founder of the Paris contemporary art website Slash Paris.  Arnaud was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia on September 14, 2011 and died on September 26, 2011.
