C & A has a strong commitment to protecting the environment.That is why we opened in 2008 our first carbon neutral store in Mainz, Germany. This store had many energy saving additions including a new ventilation system. This system reduced energy consumption by 67 percent. The store also features specially designed CDM Elite lights which decreased the energy consumption for lighting by 33 percent.
