raffia vase DIY. Just a mason jar, raffia, & modge podge. Also another craft thru this link for "Snow Drift Candle Holders" -- just need a candle holder, modge podge, Epsom salts, and glitter.

Hmm, link to info did not work... so I am assuming that after you wrap the twine you would apply some Stiffy ® Fabric Stiffener to the twine, let it dry and THEN remove the balloon. Don't take my word for it though and BE CERTAIN to check and see if Stiffy ® is same to use around flames if you plan to use candles around these!.... most likely done with modge podge...awesome idea :)

Twine Ball How-To  To create Nate's twine balls, get twine, balloons, white craft glue, and water. Mix equal parts water and glue, and soak twine in the mixture until it's saturated. Inflate a balloon, tie it off, and then carefully wrap twine around the balloon.
