Repurposed garage - NEW LIVING ROOM!!!

New sub-floor goes down!! Level walk out to new living room that used to be two steps down into garage :)

Our kitchen is a LOT bigger now... notice the repurposed TV cabinet (that is now a pantry).... it used to be in the garage!

Went 'yard saleing' last week - have to show off our Pfaltzgraff 'brown drip' dinnerware... ten guest place settings and extra serving bowls and platter for $50!!

Lessons learned: Have an expert measure for your replacement windows (costly mistake). ALSO, don't let the window companies sell you triple pane glass in Missouri... you just don't need it!

More flooring!

Garage door is gone! Re-sided the front with new windows! Yay!

We added eight wall sconces for ambience :)

Here, you can see the new hand rail!!!! Turned out beautifully!

We found a wall for the big screen :)

Another shot of the new living room ... the fish tank back in the corner is a 75 gallon - that will give you an idea of the room size - 24' long - I can get a picture of all of it at once....

This used to be the old living room - now it's a fabulous formal dining room!

Moved into the new living room! I spent one day priming and painting... then we put the trim up... and carpet.... and here it is!

Waiting for their new room :) The one on the left was added a couple of weeks ago - a Craigslist find (I love CL!). Notice all of the antlers and sheds on top of the cabinet... they are for one of the projects I have in mind for our new sconce lighting! Stay tuned!
