This is an Austrian bodice made of silk, metal, wool, and synthetic material. Although it is not actually part of the Dirndl. It has a very similar structure to the bodice and blouse of the Dirndl dress. Dirndls were not only worn by Germans but also by Austrians because Austrians are historically Germans.
