If you were following along on Stories yesterday, you saw that we were in my favorite little town, Alresford, yesterday. I love it for its pretty Georgian high street and it's great shops, but this house is the main attraction for me. I hesitated posting another photo of it, but I figure that others have their Eiffel Towers and Big Bens, and I have my house with a river running through it. by photobyshannon

Located just outside of the historical city of Winchester, Alresford is a pretty town with plenty to offer. Not only is it the capital for watercress growing within the country, it is also home to its own steam railway known as the Watercress Line. The town centre consists of two parts 'old' and 'new.' There are a variety of local boutique shops and well established eateries including The Globe, peacefully located opposite a 12th century pond.
