A bust of King Amenhotep IV (later King Akhenaten) in early Amarnan style shown in various forms of completeness.

It is more than 3300 years old and is still adored: Nefertiti, chief wife of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaton. Born in 1370 BC in what is now Syria Taduschepa princess, she was later named Nefertiti - in German "The beautiful one has come."

Nefertiti (ca. 1370 BC – ca. 1330 BC) was the Great Royal Wife (chief consort) of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten. Nefertiti and her husband were known for a religious revolution, in which they worshiped one god only, Aten, or the sun disc.
