The Crusader states were a number of mostly and feudal states created by Western European crusaders in Asia Minor, Greece and the Holy Land, and during the Northern Crusades in the eastern Baltic area.
The Crusades: 1096 to Many Muslims considered it a vicious invasion by the Europeans onto their lands. The Christians treated the Muslims and the Jews much harshly during the Crusades than the Muslims ever did to the Christians.
Melisende – 11 September was Queen of Jerusalem from 1131 to and regent for her son between 1153 and 1161 while he was on campaign. She was the eldest daughter of King Baldwin II of Jerusalem, and the Armenian princess Morphia of Melitene.
