Depth of Field Photography

I like how this one focuses on the front plant but then the rest is blurry in the background.

Depth of Field #1: I liked this because it's colorful and the subject that's in focus is the the right of the picture.

What’s my favorite color? All of ’em (34 photos)

(Focal Point) 40 Beautiful Depth Of Field Photography i love how the color is mixed with the depth of filed its also cool how all the pinnacles are balanced a cistern way.

Photography Depth of Field | By: Wayne Turner | One the most fundamental techniques necessary to really to master creative photography is depth of field. It was always a bit of a mystery to me because of the link to aperture and understanding all those back to front f-numbers. | From: picturecorrect.com

broad depth of field

Caroline I chose this picture because it has excellent depth of field photography. I like this picture because its very neat.

Daisy - The photo is an example of Shallow Depth of Field where the single flower in the foreground is sharp and in focus while the background is blurred.

I chose this because it contrasts the foreground and the background partly by the use of varying focus. This eccentuates the depth in this photo.

I really like how this picture captures shallow depth of field. I like how the glasses fade out of focus and merge with the background

This is an example of maximum depth of field. The image was taken low enough to obtain all the bicycles as well as making sure they are all in focus, creating as if the bicycles never end.

The focus is on the very sharp hand which creates the depth of field. http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/fototech/htmls/depth.html

Using a Shallow Depth of Field for Portraits

This is my example of a shallow depth of field. The manx hand is the only thing in focus. If it was a deep field of view his whole body would be in focus. A larger aperture and closer distance was used to produce this image.

This is a good example of shallow depth of field because all of the background is blurred out and all you can see is the foreground and the mini Effiel Tower. I think this photograph has quite a depressing, lonely mood because of the colours and how the photograph is framed and angled.

Depth of Field Photography: To me it kind of looks like the little tower is looking up to the bigger tower as inspiration.

DEPTH OF FIELD I really like this photo because I like how the spokes of the bike wheel divide up the background and create cool shapes/frames.
