CH 3. Ventricles of the brain. CSF is secreted by choroid plexus (capillaries), extending from the pia mater into all of the ventricles. CSF flows from the lateral ventricles -> 3rd ventricle -> cerebral aquaduct -> 4th ventricle etc. From there, it seeps into the subarachnoid space, then draining into the dural sinuses and out past the outermost meninx (dura mater).
