Generalfeldmarschall Erwin Rommel's funeral ceremony held in his hometown of Ulm (Württemberg), Mid-day on Wednesday 18 October 1944. The casket was placed on the tail of a light howitzer cannon 10.5 cm leFH (leichte FeldHaubitze) 18, with his Marschallstab (Marshal's Staff) displayed on the flag draped over his coffin.
