Edible Maps of Georgia to show the 5 regions of Georgia... Each group was given a plate of hersey kisses, coconut, m's, graham crackers, and sprinkles to represent the different soils. The students had to decide as a team where each region went and what edible object best represented the characteristics of that region. The groups were then given cutouts of trees, plants and animals to place them where they thought they belonged!

On Friday the class made edible maps of GA showing the 5 regions: mountians, swamp, piedmont, coastal plain, and beaches. They worked in groups of 4 starting out with a sugar cookie in the shape of GA.
