Our principal kicked off our faculty meeting at the beginning of the school year by sharing the book ‘What Great Teachers Do Differently’ by Todd Whitaker. He underlined a portion of the book and wrote in the margins how it applied to a teacher in our school. It was then that teacher’s job to read it over the following two weeks, annotate a section that applied to a great teacher of her choosing and pass it on. We share these at each meeting.
