A road trip is without any doubt the best way to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina. Just drive around, stop everywhere, get out of your car and fall in love.

Kravice waterfalls, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I crawled behind the overgrown vegetation of one of the falls and the walls were covered with iridescent butterflies. Maybe the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

Jajce, Bosnia. The town is also famous for its beautiful waterfall where the Pliva River meets the river Vrbas. It was 30 meters high, but during the Bosnian war, the area was flooded and the waterfall is now 20 meters high. Above an impressive urban waterfall, Jajce's fortified Old Town climbs a steep rocky knoll to the powerful, ruined castle where Bosnia's medieval kings were once crowned. The surrounding array of mountains, lakes and canyons make Jajce a potentially useful exploration…

Jajce is a city located in the central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Jajce was first built in the century and served as the capital of the independent Bosnian kingdom during its time.

Počitelj, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The historic urban site of Počitelj is located on the left bank of the river Neretva, on the main Mostar to Metković road. Architecturally, the stone-constructed parts of the town are a fortified complex, in which two stages of evolution are evident: medieval, and Ottoman. (V)
