Confédération de cinq tribus amérindiennes habitant au sud-ouest du Québec. Leur langue se rapproche de celle des Hurons. À l'arrivée des Français, au début du 17e siècle, ils étaient entre 10 000 et 15 000 personnes.  Il existe de nos jours deux communautés iroquoises au Québec.
