Must-see movie (otherwise you won't believe how bad it was): "KHARTOUM" 1966 British-Hollywood co-production. "Entertainment; D+. History: C-." This review itself is hysterical. -- "Reel history: Khartoum: blackface Olivier scrapes the bottom of some macabre barrels" - "...In the 1960s, casting agents must have actually said things like: "So, we need a Sudanese Nubian … how about Laurence Olivier?"
