Kohlberg’s theory of moral development is widely referred though questioned as to whether it applies equally to different genders & cultures. It breaks moral dev into three levels, each of which are further divided into two stages.
Psychologist Lawrence Kohlberg presented that moral development is a continual process. Kohlberg expanded on Jean Piaget's work to explain how children developed moral reasoning. Kohlberg's theory outlined six stages within three different levels.
