My mother-in-law Gerda Kernchen sewed uniforms for the Luftwaffe when she was a teenager in Berlin. This is a German uniform factory operated by Peek & Cloppenburg, a well-known department store in Berlin. Gerda said this is similar to the factory where she worked.
