A Spoonful of Learning: The Mitten & MLK FREEBIES!
Here in Northern Michigan winter can last for months (and I mean months and months). We often have snow from late November through mid-April. Well, up in the north, putting on your boots, mittens, hats, coats, and snow pants is an everyday event.
This is an activity for elementary aged students! Students are asked to color each section of the mitten different colors depending on their answers to certain questions! A suggestion is to cut out each mitten at the end and use clothespins to hang them on a clothesline around the room!
