Yip Man (2008)

Ip Man "Yip Man" (original title) R - Stars: Donnie Yen, Simon Yam, Siu-Wong Fan. - A semi-biographical account of Yip Man, the first martial arts master to teach the Chinese martial art of Wing Chun.

#KungFuTime Another amazing martial arts movie about the Grand Master of Wing Chun Gung Fu, Ip Man. Played by Donnie Yen, and action choreography by Samo Hung.

Donnie Yen is one of my favorite actors because of the movie IP Man. The role Donnie plays in the movie IP man was to be a true story based off being the teacher of Bruce Lee.

Bruce Lee (1940-1973) was just 32 when he died. He was a Hong Kong American martial artist, Hong Kong action film actor, martial arts instructor, philosopher, filmmaker, and the founder of Jeet Kune Do. He is widely considered by commentators, critics, media and other martial artists to be one of the most influential martial artists of all time, and a pop culture icon of the 20th century. He is often credited with helping to change the way Asians were presented in American films.

Bruce Lee in Return of the Dragon (Way of the Dragon). The world of karate--even the word itself--was introduced to me through this man. He made fight scenes flow like a choreographed dance sequence. Like the resourceful MacGyver, Lee could take ANY object and make it into a weapon. And the first FIIIINE Asian man I ever saw. Such a cool dude.

Girls need some martial arts for the film. Bruce Lee in Return of the Dragon (Way of the Dragon)
