NOSTALGIA: it's delicate, but potent. In Greek,"nostalgia" literally means "the pain from an old wound." It's a twinge in your heart far more powerful than memory alone -a feeling of a place where we ache to go again. So very true 😣

i'm re-pinning this not because i agree with it, but because it's a beautifully naive piece of thought about death. personally, i think i want to welcome death as a new and last adventure. i know it can come as a painful experience, but it still is new, and it only happens once, so why would you want to pass the same way you lived?

Have You ever smelled a smell and it instantly brings You back to a happy moment from the childhood? I always loved that, I hope that’s what death is, . just sitting on a cloud smelling old smells.

I think maybe technology has done more overall harm than good. I long for the days before I was even born!

We are the generation of nostalgia. We grew up in the age of transition. We grew up in the age of transition and have become the generation of nostalgia.
