I can't believe just how easy it is to make homemade laundry soap! This recipe requires five minutes of time, and makes enough laundry soap to last about 56 loads (or more). My clothes smell great and look clean.
1 box of Borax lbs 12 oz) 1 box of Washing Soda lbs 7 oz) 1 box of Baking Soda lbs) Oxyclean or Sun Oxygen Cleaner lbs) Laundry soap bars – Whether that be 3 bars of Fels Naptha, 2 bars of Zote Grate up the bar soaps and mix with the other ingredients
DIY Laundry Detergent 3 Cups of Borax 3 Cups Washing Soda 3 Cups of Baking Soda 2 Bars of Pure-Castile Soap or Fels Naptha(ingredients are questionable though). 30 Drops of Essential Oil– can use a mix of wild orange and lemon or whatever you like.
1 finely grated bar of castile soap , 1 cup borax, 1 cup washing soada, drops essential oils (optional) for scent. Store in an air tight container to prevent clumping. Use only 1 Tbsp per load for HE/front load washers Tbsp for top loaders).
