"RED" FOLEY ~ In 1954, he moved to Springfield, MO, to host "Ozark Jubilee" on ABC-TV and radio. That same year, he discovered 11-yr. old, Brenda Lee, who performed on the show. The show ran for 6 years. He went on to appear on several TV shows, including his son-in-law's, Pat Boone. In 1967, in was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, the first Kentuckian, and one of only six then-living inductees. He died in 1968.
