Cassini Just Sent Back Images From Its First-Ever Dive Through Saturn's Rings - https://outoftheboxscience.com/space/solar-system/cassini-just-sent-back-images-first-ever-dive-saturns-rings/
This Is Our First 'Sound' From the Creepy Void Inside Saturn's Rings
Today, Cassini prepares to once again boldly go where no spacecraft has gone before: into the gap between Saturn and its rings. While we’re all excited to see the the results of Cassini’s second dive, astronomers are still parsing through the findings from her first. And some, including a soundscape generated from the emptiness, are pretty freaky.
Multiple Eyes of Cassini: Cassini instruments provide complementary information about the structure of Saturn's rings. Narrow and wide angle cameras provide images in the visible region of the electromagnetic, spectrum much like a digital camera does. The images have information about how the ring structure differs both with distance from the planet and with position around the equatorial circle. However, resolution is usually limited to few kilometers at best.

Panorama across the lit side of Saturn's rings, May 10, 2014 Cassini scanned across the full width of Saturn's ring system, from the C ring at top, through the B ring at center, to the A ring at bottom. It took seven narrow-angle camera footprints to cover the breadth of the rings. The images are enlarged 150% from their original resolution.
