British Railways Travel Art Poster Print, St Ives, Cornwall, England, Travel By Train My grandmother used to take us to St Ives for a day out when we were children. St Ives is one of my favourite seaside towns.
Looking down on to St Ives' harbour / beach towards low tide. Having seen this view a lot it still amazes me that the houses are right on the beach and not much above sea level. The sea to the other side is St Ives Bay and the Atlantic Ocean proper.
St Ives is a seaside town, civil parish and port in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The town lies north of Penzance and west of Camborne on the coast of the Celtic Sea. In former times it was commercially dependent on fishing.
