The Pedlar of Swaffham is an English folktale from Swaffham, Norfolk. (Swaffham town sign)

Swaffham's name came from Old English Swǣfa hām = "the homestead of the Swabians" (ref to a region in Germany from which some Anglo-Saxons presumably came). The town sign references a folktale about a peddler.
