Being a victim is sometimes convenient. It takes the pressure off us. It's easy to say "well they do this and this is why I'm like this or act like that." A mentality like that allow you to use as many excuses as possible. It's a whole different ball game to say "they did this or that but I have a life to live and I can't let their wrong keep me from doing what is right for me and what is right period."
