I would use this as an intro to the integrated math lessons planned for our unit where we have students calculate the difference in temperature using a thermometer, use tools to measure and record amounts of rainfall over a period of two weeks, and measure and compare the wind speeds of different days through the use of a wind vane.

What's the Weather? How do we measure weather? This chart will help students learn the different way we measure weather.

Landforms and Bodies of Water Anchor Chart for Kindergarten

9 Must Make Anchor Charts for Social Studies

The snowman is a counting game. He is made out of a milk jug and fun foam. Pretty easy and pretty cute. A child rolls the die and counts out the milk caps. This is also a good game for learning social skills because each child will have to be patient and wait for their turn.

Roll the dice and "feed" the snowman. Use cotton balls for snow balls. I could turn this into a notation or rhythm game pretty easily.
