I find a few of these helpful but the rest I completely disagree with. Nothing good ever comes from writing "the easy scenes" and then trying to piece them together and fill in the gaps. Trust me--I know. Or hiring help
Another idea on how to get over writer's block—I was having trouble finding out the name in one of my stories and I asked him out loud what it was - he spelled it out straightaway but didn't pronounce it - I hope I am saying it right.
It's so hard to get back to writing once we've dropped the ball, but if it's rolling down the sidewalk even now, we can catch it! Try one of these ideas, tomorrow if not today, and your writing mojo will be crawling in the doggy door before you know it.
