When planning a birthday party, a christmas party or a wedding for our clients, we want to create an event full of memorable moments for them, and for their guests. Food can be memorable. This crème brûlée was spectacularly memorable. I know it's a little out of focus, but can you make out the cover of my book on the #customized apron? Details such as this really add an extra level of special to a special event.

Often times when we think of cocktail parties and finger food, we think savoury, but there should be a little sweet too, don't you think? We won't forget to cater to those with a sweet tooth. These bite-sized gems were coconut-passion fruit cubes. They were little mouthfuls of tropical sunshine.

I may well be a devout carnivore, but I knew that not all the guests at my #booklaunch would be. The wonderful people at Traiteur Wille know that one of my five golden rules is that guests should not be hungry and so they came up with this great vegetarian option. These small crispy wafer baskets were filled with a delicious saffron-fennel salad and smoked tofu. They were enjoyed by my vegetarian and meat eating guests alike. 📷: Joee Wong

Life is full of milestones to be celebrated, leaving life behind is the last. This milestone for Jan Fedder was organised as per his wishes and though he was mourned by many, he was also celebrated as the amazing actor, friend and husband that he was.

Don't be deceived by how sweet they look. These were fresh goat's cheese pralines rolled in pink quinoa. No one ever said food couldn't be gorgeous as well as tasty. Traiteur Wille really hit the brief with this one. 📷:Joee Wong

Another of my five golden rules is that guests should not be hungry, and why would they be when presented with such delicious morsels?! My mouth is watering simply thinking back to this red halibut with yellow peas and pea tendrils. Traiteur Wille, it was some of the most delicious fish I've ever eaten. And all off a practical serving spoon!

I was delighted that Ingo Peters, the General Manager of the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten - Hamburg, and his lovely wife Christiane could join in the celebrations at my Book Launch last month. Grateful for having both of them celebrating this milestone with me.
