“FSC is keen to strengthen our work to promote sustainable forest management of tropical forests, and we are taking part in this meeting of the ITTO to show the governments meeting here our commitment to tropical forests, and to discuss how we can work together to make FSC certification an even stronger tool for well-managed forests and the people who live in them”, said Kim Carstensen, Director General of FSC at the Official ITTC FSC Event (27 Nov 2013).
