A natural underwater path
One of the Fairy Pools in the Cuilins. The water was quite low in May. The snow melt is long gone but it revealed this magical carpet of green stones cutting its way through the bedrock. Thanks to all flikr reviewers. My website contains more images and eBooks. www.photographicview.co.uk

Ardverikie Castle or Lodge, Loch Laggan, Kingussie, Scottish Highlands, circa 1870. It was designed by John Rhind of Inverness in a Scots baronial style, its gabled roofline complete with octagonal turrets with corbelled conical roofs.

Over the last two years on Hallowe'en I have posted blogs about execution sites of Scottish witches.* This year I conclude with the memorials to the last two witches to be burnt in Scotland. One from the Lowlands and the other from the Highlands.
