This is a rare and beautiful Viking bronze cross pendant, dating to the 10th - 11th century AD. The cross is a nice example, with a plethora of decoration in the form of ring and dot annulets. Such pendants were worn by the newly Christianized Vikings, taking the place of the Thor's hammer. This is a very nice example, mostly we find then badly corroded or with damaged suspension loops.
