Rope lighting around the garden...inexpensive, waterproof- great idea!

Rope lighting in flower beds. This works perfect for lighting a walkway. I used the rope light holders that stick in the ground and cut off half the spike.

Baking Soda- neutralizes the ph in the soil and nothing will grow there. Use baking soda in a 6" wide area around all of the edges of flower beds to keep the grass and weeds from growing into beds. Just sprinkle it onto the soil so that it covers it lightly, twice a year - spring and fall.
