Welcome back to the Frugal Gardener on Sunny Daze with Dawn.. This is part 8 of “Turning an Ugly Outdoor Space into a Garden Oasis”. On this episode my stainless steel table that I acquired from an estate sale and painted green is finished. I then paint two outdoor metal chairs and small table that I bought off of Offer-Up. My beautification process of making me an outdoor garden oasis is coming along step-by-step. I hope I am inspiring someone.

On this episode of Turning an Ugly Outdoor Space into a Garden Oasis, I paint two bar stools to use as plant stands, I work on taking the wires off my clothesline to get them out of the way, I finish off laying the outdoor green carpet and plant up some plants I got at Home Depot and Costco. I got a beautiful hydrangea from Costco and a Ficus pumila Creeping Fig, which I absolutely love from Home Depot. It has grown so much in the last year. It is often used to cover walls and topiaries.
This episode takes place March 14th, 2022. On this episode of turning my Ugly Outdoor space into a Garden Oasis, I work on dividing the space between me and my neighbor using the clothesline. I already wired a 6 by 8 foot piece of bamboo to the clothesline but it did not give much privacy. The problem is not having dirt to use fence posts or anything like that as it is all blacktop. Therefore, I can’t fence anything off. (And I’m frugal) So I have to use my noggin and think outside the box🤪
