Happy Tuesday! I think the most asked question you guys are asking me right now is what are you feeding Luke?! I will happily share, friends! Both of my kids started solids around the 5 month mark. They both started with purees (I think kabocha squash was first on the list for both) and then, rather quickly, moved into finger foods. I had no idea what the term “babyled weaning” was with Grayson. It just felt natural for both of us to move past purees around the time he was seven months old. I remember making spaghetti, minestrone and pot roast, and just letting him go at it. It was SO fun and SO messy. When Luke started flat out refusing purees (especially the spoon – he WILL NOT be spoon fed!) around the time he was six and a half month old, I started researching actual babyled weaning ideas and foods.
