Pilze geschnitzt - Karin Urban-NaturalSTyle

The appetite for DIY play kitchens never seems to flag at Ohdeedoh. We love to feature them and you love to find creative new ways to build them, so we know there are a lot of kitchens out there. Of course, what is a play kitchen without play food? We have featured some great fabric food in the past but recently came across a delicious new take on fruits and veggies that we had to share.Katie at Duo Fiberworks has more good ideas than any one person should be allowed to have.
Bastelt ihr noch oder schnitzt ihr schon?
Meine Kinder lieben Messer. Taschenmesser, Teppichmesser, Scheren etc. schon immer.

Waldorf in our Home - How Wee Learn

Spy Glass Color Wheel
Craft project: Use red, blue and yellow cellophane to make a color wheel that teaches about combining the primary colors. Have your child see how many colors can be made by overlapping the cellophane layers. To see even more colors, the color wheel doubles as a spy glass that your child can look through to make the colors of things change.

Australian Dot Art (4th)
To begin with I showed my students a PowerPoint to first show them where Australia is on a map, and then to give them a little background about Aboriginal Australian art - and more specifically their dot art style. We also watched this video clip. We talked about how aboriginal Australian artwork contained a lot of symbolism and was often very stylized (like the images of animals).
