Today we read a very fun story entitled "Leaf Man" by Lois Ehlert. Afterwards we went on a leaf hunt to see how many different kinds of leaves we could find. We took the leaves we found and tried to make our own Leaf Man! We ran into a few problems with our leaves because of the messy fall we are having. We found it much easier to build our Leaf Man with printed scans of leaves Mrs. B gave us instead. Check out our hard work! Follow my Teacher Page on Pinterest!

On this chilly, and very windy day, we had a great time playing outside with our friends. We noticed all of the leaves flying off the trees and through the wind. We tried really hard to catch a few leaves which we later used in our project. When we got back inside we practiced being the wind by putting our lips together and blowing. We do the same thing when we say words that begin with the letter W! We each took a picture acting as the wind. Check it out below. Enjoy your weekend!
