Johy Hyden is just back from the court. Not from training for the upcoming AVP Champions Cup but from coaching a group of girls. John has recently opened his own beach volleyball training ground, Hyden Beach in Spring Hill, Tennessee. His Hyden Beach Academy is offering beach volleyball training for juniors and adults on six outdoor and two indoor courts.
It is quite a challenge to stay in shape in these times. One of the easy ways to do so is to go for a run in the park or in the woods. Running is a great activity to improve your overall fitness level, burn some calories and get your daily dose of oxygen and (hopefully) some sun. Besides these health and fitness benefits, running does only require a minimum amount of equipment.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak and associated lockdowns or curfews (e.g. in Spain or France), beaches have been closed, public courts are inaccessible, playing beach volleyball has been prohibited. At some Californian beaches, local authorities have cut down all beach volleyball nets. So there is no way playing beach volleyball all over the world? Not really…
