It may not be the perfect rendition and shape...but I poured all my heart and energy into making this.
Using the Styrofoam cutter to heat around the edges and the sides and giving an almost authentic look and feel to the fortress as depicted in the 1978 film. The cotton is used to add the foggy-snowy effect, glued yo the cardboard.
Adding a bit of a white paint job so the Styrofoam doesn't look too bright and bringing the right colour of snow.
For this special chore, I chose to purchase a Christopher Reeve Superman action figure and make it a bit more its own character.
Using Styrofoam, straws, glue of all forms, cotton and cardboard...as well as Styrofoam cutter.
Started the project about 3 weeks ago. Total working time took 7 hours to complete.
