A US Army soldier gives oranges to starving survivors of the Wöbbelin concentration camp:  Wöbbelin concentration camp, a subcamp of Neuengamme concentration camp, was established in February 1945 to hold prisoners evacuated from other camps in order to prevent their liberation by the approaching Allied forces. At its height the camp housed approximately 5,000 inmates. Wöbbelin was liberated by American troops on May 2, 1945, who found around 1,000 corpses strewn throughout the camp.

Zoharei Chama Synagogue, literally  "Sunrise Synagogue" is a synagoge and beit midrash on Jaffa Road in Jerusalem in front of the market Mahane Yehuda. The building was planed and constructed by  Rabbi Shmuel Levy from 1908–1917 to host a synagoge and hostel for new inmigrants. The building was damaged in 1941 and partially restored by the municipality of Jerusalem in 1980.

Homage to Jerusalem - Sculpture of Alexander Calder built in 1976 in the Herzl Boulevard in Mount Herzl. The sculpture is in front of the last station of the Jerusalem light rail.
