Friends Are Flowers
Ryan and I spent Friday night finishing up the painting in my craft room. Saturday he replaced all of the outlets and outlet covers, put on the new doorknob, and put the closet doors back on. After that we loaded all of the furniture back into the room. I was finally able to get back in and make a few things last night and today! I got my PTI Blog Hop cards done last night and this card I made this afternoon. I still have a few more projects to work on in the room before I post pictures, but…

A Bouquet of Blue
I made this card for Case Study Challenge #38 found HERE: Based on this card made by this month's muse, Sarah Martina Parker: I used the blue of her flower, the doily, and the white embossed print as inspiration to make my card... I used a set by Papertrey Ink for the flowers and doily die, a Stampin Up set for the stems and Stampendous for the sentiment. Popped up some of the flowers and added gingham ribbon. I hope all had a wonderful Mother's Day...have a great week:)!! Things I used…

Clean and Simple 176
Here's a card I made for Clean and Simple's sketch 176 my card and the sketch: You can see, by my card, that I totally flipped the sketch sideways...it just "worked" that way for me. I had taken a Hero Arts flower(Stitched Frame) and was trying my hand at coloring it(Sharpie Markers), when I decided to use it and 3 more like it for this sketch. The only thing is...the flower is a little bigger than I probably should have used for the sketch...so turning it sideways was best for the…

One- Layer Birthday by LynniePoo - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Even though my cards all almost all CAS, I rarely make a one-layer card. But, I made one last night:) I stamped the flowers with a stamp from the dollar bin at Michael's. (It had a sentiment on it, but I cut it apart so I can use them separately.) I stamped the sentiment (from PTI Birthday Basics) over the stems. I scored five lines on the left side with my Scor-Pal. I put some pink on the flowers with a colored pencil, added Star Dust Stickles to them, and then gave each one a pearl…
MM #51
Popping with a card for this week's Merry Monday Challenge. I am getting into the groove with Christmas cards for next year. This week's theme is Tic Tac Toe, your card need to include elements from the Tic Tac Toe board either across, diagonal or up and down. I chose across the top row--red, dry embossing and ribbon. I am also submitting this to Simon Says Stamps Anything Goes. All supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted. Cardstock: White, Pure Poppy Stamps: Let it Snow (Lawn…
Background Basics...
Ahhh! Christmas: the presents have been unwrapped, the turkey has been cooked (and a month's worth remains in the fridge), and I've still got numb fingers from building lots of Lego toys with my nieces a nephews! Love it! I hope you've all had a happy Holiday too! Apologies for this challenge being posted later than usual: straight after Christmas I had a birthday to celebrate and a very snowy wedding to attend! I'm still recovering from the drinking, eating, celebrating and socialising (not…
