The gamble paid off. Before I moved in 4 months ago I knew I wanted to remove the entry closet and replace with a nook. Project started by ripping out old doors, shelving, and rods. Then walls needed mud and painting before construction of the nook. Initially bought 1/2" MDF but opted for 3/4 plywood for the lower (shoe) shelves. Hello there, me again! It's been a while. I did not fall into a vat of wine. I've received emails from some very nice readers who are contemplating adding on a mudroom & wondered how it's working out for us.
