cheap, plastic, transparent pony beads in a 12" metal cake pan. baked the beads at 425 degrees for 30-40 minutes...until all the beads had completely melted. cool in the pan for about 20 minutes, then pop it out of the pan. glue it onto a dollar store candle stick with E6000 glue.

Have you read the book The Snow Globe Family? It's such a neat story and it really got my students writing today. The family that lives inside the snow globe is just like the family who owns the snow

Yarn Eggs for Easter Sunday School class- wrap balloon in yarn you like -leave lots of nice "gaps" as wrapping. Mix 1/2 bottle glue w 1/2 bottle water, pour into bowl, swirl yarn covered balloon in it, let drip in collander, then sit on wax paper turning periodically for about 2 days. should be hard. works better than fabric stiffener from michaels - i tried both. cut hole, attach embellishments, wa-la! what fun!!!

Tissue Paper Lanterns. :) I loved this project !!! This was such an easy and inexpensive project. I have always dreamed of putting together a lantern festival. There would be lots of different projects that could lead up to it. The class loved this project. It was messy but the result was beautiful. We coated the inside of our lanterns with beeswax. I found this idea and instructions on the dollarstore website. Here is the link;
