MACEDONIAN FOLK COSTUMES The red color and the color of the wine are colors of earth and fertility, while gold is the color of the gods (the sky) That is why our national costume is red with gold embroidery.

The Galicnik Wedding, a three-day traditional Macedonian wedding celebration held each "Petrovden" or St. Peter's Day, involves traditional customs, costumes, and rituals and dances that have been passed down over the centuries.
