The Pont Valentré is a six-span fortified stone arch bridge crossing the Lot River to the west of Cahors, in the Midi-Pyrénées region. It has become a symbol of the city. Cahors is the capital of the Lot department in south-western France.

Abe hopes investment in Far East will aid progress on Russia peace talks
